Christmas with Wartburg, Wartburg College�s holiday tradition that began in 1947, celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Christmas with Wartburg 2007 features more than 300 students in the Wartburg Choir, Castle Singers, Wind Ensemble, Ritterchor, St. Elizabeth Chorale, and Symphonic Band with special guest Simon Estes, internationally renowned opera star and Wartburg distinguished professor and artist-in-residence. The DVD features the television show produced by Iowa Public Television, taped at the Des Moines Civic Center on November 27. The CD is the audio version of the performance, excluding narration and hymns. The IPTV taping was made possible by a generous donation from Mike and Marge McCoy of Fort Myers, Fla., and a matching gift from Hormel Foods Corporation.
